About First Aid Saves Lives CIC
Helping communities across the North East by teaching practical first aid skills that save lives
At First Aid Saves Lives CIC, we run hands-on workshops that teach CPR, defibrillator use and how to manage serious bleeding. Our sessions are friendly, welcoming and designed for anyone, from individuals and families to community groups, schools, clubs and local organisations. Everyone leaves with the knowledge and confidence to take action in an emergency and have the power to save a life.
Making a Real Difference in Local Communities
First Aid Saves Lives CIC was created to make practical first aid accessible to everyone. We saw a need for training that not only teaches the theory, but also gives people the skills and confidence to act when it matters most.
Since our founding, we have been helping communities across the North East by teaching practical first aid skills that save lives in homes, schools, workplaces, and local groups. With the support of funders such as the National Lottery Community Fund and the Social Enterprise Boost Fund for South Tyneside, we have expanded our reach and developed new workshops to meet the needs of communities across the region.

What We Do
We deliver workshops designed to give real, practical experience that can make a difference in an emergency. Our sessions focus on:
Save A LIfe Community CPR & Defibrillator Awareness
Participants learn how to recognise cardiac arrest, perform CPR, and safely use a defibrillator. These skills help save lives in the first critical minutes before emergency services arrive.
Stop the Bleed Workshops
Our sessions teach simple and effective ways to control life-threatening bleeding. Participants practise techniques with or without specialist kits, so they can act confidently in real-life emergencies.
Every workshop is hands-on, practical, and tailored to the group attending. We bring all the equipment, guidance, and support needed for people to learn with confidence.

We are grateful to the organisations that make our work possible. Funders like the National Lottery Community Fund and the Social Enterprise Boost Fund for South Tyneside allow us to deliver free or low-cost workshops and reach more people across the North East.
We are always looking for new partnerships to help extend our reach and continue helping communities by teaching practical first aid skills that save lives.

We are always keen to explore ways to work with new supporters and organisations that share our values and vision.
Whether you are a funder, a local business, a community group, or a civic partner, we would love to talk about how we can collaborate to grow training, extend reach, or support shared impact projects.
