At First Aid Saves Lives CIC, we work in partnership with First Aid and Safety Training to offer a range of nationally recognised first aid courses for individuals, groups, and workplaces.

✅ All courses are delivered by our Qualsafe-registered training centre.
✅ All qualifications are Ofqual regulated, HSE and EYFS compliant.
✅ Courses are suitable for meeting workplace, early years, and community training requirements.
✅ 20% of the cost of every course booked through our CIC goes directly into funding our free and low-cost community workshops.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work

1-day nationally recognised first aid course for low-risk workplaces, community organisations, or individuals looking to meet HSE guidance.

You’ll learn how to:

Respond to emergencies
Deal with choking, bleeding, shock, burns, seizures, and unresponsiveness
Perform CPR and use an AED
Complete accident reporting and health/safety procedures

Perfect for:
All business that do not complete high risk work, employers, self-employed, security industry, volunteers, sports coaches, personal trainers, event staff and anyone who needs a first aid qualification.

Course Format:
1-day in-person (available monthly in South Shields, Sunderland and Gateshead).
On-site delivery available for groups of 6 or more.

Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (Blended)

2-day accredited course designed to meet EYFS and Ofsted requirements for childcare settings.

You’ll learn how to:

Respond to emergencies involving babies and children
Perform CPR and use an AED on infants and children
Manage choking, bleeding, seizures, allergic reactions, and more
Complete incident reporting for schools and nurseries

Perfect for:
Nursery workers, childminders, teaching assistants, school staff, foster carers, volunteers in community groups where the age of children is below 6 and new or expectant parents

Course Format:
Blended (6 hours online training package) followed by 1 day in-person.
Available across the North East or delivered on-site to your setting.
