Our Mission

At First Aid Saves Lives CIC, our mission is simple but powerful,

To make life-saving first aid knowledge accessible, inclusive, and empowering—especially in communities where access is limited or overlooked.

We believe that no one should be left unprepared in an emergency. That’s why we provide free resources, low-cost workshops, and trusted access to accredited courses, ensuring everyone, no matter their background, has the confidence to step up when it matters most.

Who We Are

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in South Tyneside, dedicated to strengthening communities across the North East of England through accessible first aid education.

Built on the experience and success of our sister organisation, First Aid and Safety Training, we created this not-for-profit arm to extend our reach into the heart of the community. We focus on people and places that are often excluded from formal training due to financial or logistical barriers.

What Makes Us Different!

We go where formal training doesn’t.
Many of the groups we work with—youth clubs, disadvantaged families, community organisations, social clubs—are often left out of the first aid conversation. We change that.
We reinvest everything into the mission.
From affiliate links and qualification course referrals to hoodie sales, 100% of our income goes back into supporting the community.
We collaborate with trusted partners.
We work with established organisations like First Aid and Safety Training and the Red Sky Foundation to provide high-quality, trustworthy, and effective support.
We’re already making an impact.
With a growing network of supporters, volunteers, and community leaders, we’re reaching more people every week through free posters, shared resources, and practical, local workshops.
